Stress Management Workbook

Stress management is an important skill for lawyers and anyone in a high-stress job. Though meditation can be one effective tool for managing stress, I have found that a toolkit approach works best.

In addition, mindfulness and meditation are not the same thing. You can apply mindfulness to your patterns and habits even without meditation. That’s what this workbook aims to do.

Did you know that assumptions about and reactions to stress can, in part, dictate the way it affects us? Did you know that there is more than one way to respond to stress?

This workbook will challenge old assumptions about stress and help you raise awareness to your responses to it. Then it will guide you through a self-reflection on potential behaviors that could serve you better.

I do not offer this tool, however, to suggest that you should manage stress without professional help or the support of friends and family. Please give yourself the benefit of every tool at your disposal, including the help of trained mental health professionals, to manage stress and your mental health needs.
