How I Built a Law Practice E-Book

This e-book is more about law practice than mindfulness practice. In 2018, I started my blogging journey as a Writer in Residence for Ms. JD. I had no idea at the time that this would evolve into two new identities for me as a writer and teacher of mindfulness, but I’m so grateful it did.

This e-book is a collection of my blog post for the Writers in Residence program. It is focused towards young women but others are free to read and may enjoy some of the topics. Unlike other content on the blog, this e-book is not solely focused on mindfulness, though some posts relate to that and there is a general focus of well-being throughout.

The topics addressed in the post include:

  • the best career advice I ever received;
  • work-life balance and dispelling the “how do you do it all” myth;
  • dealing with microaggressions as a female lawyer;
  • establishing fitness and meditation habits;
  • networking; and
  • leadership and mentorship.

I share this e-book as a celebration of my own progress as a writer and as a marker for others about how trying something new can lead to amazing things. Since the posts are no longer openly available on Ms. JD’s website, I thought an e-book would be a way to ensure that they would remain available.
