Coping Strategies for Difficult Times Ebook

When I teach mindfulness, I frequently remind the audience that it is more than a coping strategy. In truth, mindfulness and even meditation can shift the way we view the world and ourselves. It can be a spiritual practice built over a time that leads us to open our minds and hearts.

With that said, mind-body practices offer many benefits for those of us who need help coping in difficult times. The breath is a tool that can help us manage stress. The body can become a haven when our thoughts spiral. And our hearts can help us remember our values and our kindness in the hardest of times.

To that end, I created this ebook that offers a variety of easy to implement mind-body strategies that can help you cope when you need it most. It is divided into 5 chapters and covers practices relating to the breath, body, a and heart. It also has two sections with practices that allow for movement and aimed to address more intense overwhelm.

I do not offer this tool, however, to suggest that you should manage stress without professional help or the support of friends and family. Please give yourself the benefit of every tool at your disposal, including the help of trained mental health professionals, to manage stress and your mental health needs.
